How many times do you recommend coming each week?
Pilates Joe Class Studio recommends you attend 2-3 times per week. You may attend unlimited sessions each month for the same low cost.
What is the appropriate attire?
Loose fitting/comfortable pants and tops or close fitting shorts and loose tops. Pilates is done barefoot or in socks-whatever your preference.
Do I need to bring a mat? No, Pilates Joe Class Studio provides all mats, weights, and tools necessary for your successful workout.
Can I handle this program if I am totally out of shape, have not exercised? Pilates was originally developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920's to aide people who had been injured, in accidents, and had health issues. The program will cater to your individual needs and requirements while helping you lengthen and strengthen your muscles as well as dramatically improve your flexibility and overall good health.
Will Pilates help me lose weight? Yes, both the classes and the free Pilates Joe nutritional guide will assist you in meeting your weight loss goals.
Can I attend a free class to try out the program? Absolutely, we request that you call the studio to schedule your free/no obligation class. We are so convinced you will enjoy our program and will want to become a member after experiencing our unique format. In fact, if you have a friend who wants to join you, please feel free to bring that person as well.
I cannot always attend on a regularly scheduled basis. Is that an issue? At Pilates Joe, we invite you to customize your schedule and modify it to suit your needs. We understand that everyone has commitments and want to make your experience at Pilates Joe as flexible as possible.
Do you offer any classes other than Pilates? Yes, we also offer Yoga classes which are included in the regular monthly fees-no additional charges. Please call our studio for more details.
What if I want to attend at a time you do not have a regularly scheduled class? Pilates Joe is constantly adding new classes. We only need 4 people to open a new section. So, please bring 3 friends, coworkers, relatives, etc. and we can open a new class time for just 4 registered people.
Do you offer Yoga and Body Toning/Sculpting? Yes, we do offer such classes and will be glad to inform you with details when you come by the studio.
Who are your trainers? Our instructors are all trained Pilates instructors (our Yoga trainers are cerified). Our Body Toning instructor is a certified personal trainer. We have several instructors, all of whom have different personalities so each time you come, you will receive a varied approach within the guidelines of the classical, authentic Pilates.
